Jan Arrah (Element Lad) of Trom is the sole survivor of his race, which had the ability to transmute the elements. The pirate Roxxas slaughtered the Trommite population after they refused to use those powers to enrich him. Jan is now a devoted apostle of the little-understood spiritual disciplines of his Trommite creed.
